Southern Demographics

Social Explorer- provides easy access to demographic information about the United States, from 1790 to present.  Includes Census data.

ProQuest Statistical Insight - Coverage ranges across many topics including income, production, retail and wholesale trade, interest rates, economic indicators, demographics, energy, environmental protection, agriculture and fisheries, crime, medicine, and education.

Historical Statistics of the United States - database contains over 37,000 tables of historical data covering population, the economy, social conditions, health, and governance.  Covers 18th-20th centuries.

City and County Data Book- access to the 1944 through 2000 County and City Data Books.
